Stop Wasting Energy Pulling Weeds

What's up, my Greats!
Let me ask you something.
How much of your energy are you wasting fighting things you were never meant to control?
The competition.
The criticism.
The people rooting against you.
The setbacks.
The unfairness.
Some of you are spending more time staring at the weeds than growing your crop.
And it's costing you.
Jesus told a parable about a farmer who planted good seed in his field. But while everyone slept, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat.
When the servants saw the weeds, they wanted to pull them up immediately.
Makes sense, right?
Get rid of the problem.
Fix it now.
But the farmer gave a surprising answer:
"Let both grow together until the harvest."
— Matthew 13:30
Think about that.
Sometimes your obsession with removing every problem creates a bigger problem.
Every Field Has Weeds
If you're building something meaningful, expect resistance.
Every business has competition.
Every leader has critics.
Every entrepreneur has setbacks.
Every family has challenges.
Every life has weeds.
Stop acting surprised.
Weeds don't mean you're on the wrong path.
They simply prove you're growing something valuable.
Don't Let the Weeds Steal Your Focus
Here's where people lose.
They become obsessed with what's going wrong.
One negative comment ruins their day.
One rejection makes them question everything.
One competitor launches something new, and suddenly they abandon their own strategy.
Why?
Because they stopped tending the wheat and started worshipping the weeds.
That's a losing strategy.
Not Everything Needs Your Immediate Attention
This is a lesson every entrepreneur needs.
Just because you notice a problem doesn't mean you should drop everything to fix it immediately.
Some battles are distractions.
Some conflicts aren't worth entering.
Some critics don't deserve a response.
Wisdom is knowing the difference.
If you spend your whole life reacting, you'll never have enough energy left to build.
Trust the Process
The farmer understood something the servants didn't.
Pulling weeds too early could damage the wheat.
Sometimes what feels like delay is actually protection.
You're frustrated because something hasn't been removed yet.
Maybe God sees something you don't.
Maybe the timing matters.
Maybe your roots are still developing.
Growth requires patience.
Keep Growing Anyway
Don't let the presence of weeds convince you there isn't a harvest coming.
Keep planting.
Keep serving.
Keep learning.
Keep building.
Keep showing up.
The weeds don't determine your future.
Your faithfulness does.
Here's the Bottom Line
Quit giving so much attention to everything that's trying to distract you.
You can't control every obstacle.
You can't silence every critic.
You can't eliminate every challenge.
But you can control your focus.
And what you water will grow.
So stop feeding fear.
Stop feeding comparison.
Stop feeding negativity.
Feed your vision.
Feed your discipline.
Feed your faith.
Because while everyone else is complaining about the weeds...
You'll be harvesting the crop.
Now go make it happen!
